Concept:

Working with the idea of creatures living in a dark and dingy, cave-like underworld, I created a series of NPCs from enemies to basic creatures that would roam around.

These are the NPCs designed by Aries (Andrea). They did the original sketches, which I then finalised the line art for and coloured.
As a team, we decided on these NPCs as our main ones, and my designed creatures could be more background characters. A little sad, but we ball.

From my NPCs, we had the option of using the hand or the grim reaper as the “final boss”. It was decided to go with the Grim Reaper, as the obvious enemy for a hellish underworld.
The Pointers would then be NPCs that would helpfully guide the player in the direction of travel.

As I was stealing my hand animation from the Visual Immersion unit, they did not exnjoy being reused. Womp womp. I cleaned it up, deleted all the animation keys, and started again.
